Mode of Action:
- Glory is fast-acting and long-lasting solution for controlling various chewing (lepidopteran) pests in cotton, rice, vegetable and pulses.
- Glory is very effective on difficult-to-control pest populations, including the diamond back moth on cabbage, bollworm on cotton, leaf folder and stem borer on rice, fruit borer on tomatoes and chillies (Helicoverpa and Spodoptera), fruit and shoot borer on Brinjal, and pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera and Maruca spp.) on pulses.
Mode of Action
-
- Controls Lepidoptera which are resistant
- No cross resistance known
Provides long lasting efficacy
-
- Fewer sprays, hence saving in cost of labour
Immediate stoppage of feeding of the pest
-
- Less damage to the crop
- Faster acting than existing new chemistry
Rain fastness
-
- Rainfall @ 40 mm – after 3 hrs – no loss in activity
- No wastage of chemical during rains
Excellent margins of safety
-
- Broad application window
- Less dependent on difficult weather conditions (temperatures, humidity, rain)
- PHIs favourable for various crops
- IPM compatible
