Anyfen (Famoxadone 16.6% + Cymoxanil 22.1% SC) is a systemic & contact fungicide effective for the control of downy mildew disease of grapes & late blight disease of potato crop.
Direction of Use
Recommendation for use as a foliar spray using high volume spray equipment, such as Knapsack sprayer, rocking sprayer, food sprayer etc, are as under
Time of Application
Famoxadone 16.6% + Cymoxanil 22.1% SC should be applied preventively to be prepared at 10-14 days interval depending on prevailing weather condition and disease pressure. Precaution
1) Read and follow all instructions on the label & leaflet very carefully. Save the container with label to show to the physician in case of accidental poisoning. 2) Don’t inhale the contents. Water rubber gloves, goggles , face mask, and protective clothing while handing . Avoid remaining in drift of spray while applying the fungicide with the wind. 3) Don’t eat, drink, smoke or chew betel leaves while spraying. 4) When spraying, take care of spray drift, Don’t spray if windy conditions exists. 5) Don’t fill the spray tank beyond 3/4th of its capacity. Clean the blocked nozzle by a thin wire or pin and never by blowing the same. 6) In case of any spillage on the body it should be washed with plenty of water. 7) Keep and wash personal protective equipment separately from other laundry. 8) Always change clothing and take a bath as soon as fungicide treatment is completed. 9) Call a physician immediately if any symptoms of poisoning appear in a person who is using or has recently used the fungicide.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
1) Ingestion of this material may cause temporary central nervous system depression with dizziness, headache confusion, in coordination, loss of consciousness. 2) Eye contact may cause eye irritation with discomfort, tearing, pain or blurred vision. 3) Skin contact may cause irritation with itching, burning, redness, swelling, discomfort or rash. 4) Inhalation may cause irritation of upper respiratory passage with coughing and discomfort.
First Aid
1) In case of contact with eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for at lest 15 minutes. Call a physician. 2) If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing , given artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, given oxygen. Call a physician. 3) If swallowed, immediately give 1 to 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician. 4) If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Phytotoxicity
Famoxadone 16.6% + Cymoxanil 22.1% SC is not phytotoxic if used as per recommendation.
Antidote
No specific antidote available, treat symptomatically.
