MODE OF ACTION
Muscular Dysfunction (FLB) and nervous system dysfunction (TCP) Flubendiamide acts as a Ryanodine Receptor disruptor of cellular calcium movement, important for muscle contractions. It causes lethargy, paralysis, rapid feeding cessation and death. Thiacloprid acts as an agonist on the postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors of motor neurons in insects. This causes an over-stimulation of the nervous system, and ultimately kills the insect.
Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC) Classification No.
Flubendiamide 28; Thiacloprid 4A
FEATURES
- Long lasting protection : It provides excellent efficacy and long lasting protection to the crop
- Broad spectrum control : It is effective on most of the chewing and some sucking pests
- Immediate cessation of the pest feeding : It immediately stops pests from feeding on the crop, hence the crop damage stops immediately
- Dual mode of action: It has both contact and systemic actions on the pests. Combination of two modes of chemistry gives dual action against pests (systemic & ingestion/contact)
- Tool of resistance management: Built in resistance management
- No cross resistance between the active ingredients
- Prayan shows demonstrable plant growth enhance effect which will lead to better yield
Direction of Use
Method of application: It should be applied as a foliar. No specific soil conditions are prescribed. Use knapsack sprayer fitted with hollow cone nozzle. Avoid spraying during part of the day when it’s very hot, windy or rainy or when the foliage is wet. Do not spray against the direction of the wind. Preparation of spray solution: Take a small quantity water and add required quantity of product, mix thoroughly and then add remaining quantity of water while stirring vigorously.
Time of Application
Give the first spray as soon as the pest incidence reaches ETL (Economic Threashold Level) and 1-2 more sprays depending upon the level of the pest population. Observe waiting period. As soon as the spray droplets dries up.
Precaution
Handle with care. Do not touch or inhale the contents. While handling the product, wear personal protective clothing, rubber gloves, rubber boots, face mask, safety glasses. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Keep away from source of ignition. Avoid contact with spilled product and contaminated surfaces.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, weakness and mild sedation.
First Aid
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless advised by the attending physician. If patient is alert and conscious, rinse the mouth with water. Give 1-2 glasses of water. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Inhalation: Keep the patient away from the place of incident. Loosen the clothes. If patient is not breathing, give mouth to mouth breathing or artificial respiration. Eye: Wash with plenty of water of normal temperature at least for 15 minutes. If redness, pain and irritation occur; call the eye specialist, immediately. Skin: Wash thoroughly, with plenty of water. If symptoms of irritation and blistering occur, call the skin specialist, immediately.
