Record R, Oxadiargyl 80 % W.P. is a selective pre emergence herbicide effective against following weeds in transplanted rice and sunflower.
Direction of Use
Preparation of spray solution : Mix the require quantity of herbicide in small quantity of water and add the remaining quantity of water. Mix well before use. Use stick or rod for mixing. Do not use hand. How to spray : Give a uniform spray over the soil, without having gap. Do not spray against the direction of winds. Clean the sprayer thoroughly with water after complication of work. PP Equipment : Spray by knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle.
Time of Application
Transplanted Rise : Spray within 3-5 days after transplanting rice. Sunflower : Apply at pre emergence to crop i.e. 0-3 days after sowing.
Precaution
1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals feed. 2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin. 3. Avoid inhalation the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind. 4 . Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body aftrer spraying. 5. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying. 6. Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, tremors may occur.
First Aid
1. If swallowed, induce vomiting by tickling the back of throat. Repeat it until the vomitus is clear. Do not induce vomiting if the patient is unconscious. 2. If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water. 3. If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline/clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes. 4. If inhaled, remove the patient to fresh air.
