Weedcast, Metsulfuron methyl 10% w/w + Carfentrazone ethyl 40% w/w DF is a post emergence herbicide containing metsulfuron methyl 10% w/w and carfentrazone ethyl 40% w/w which is effective against important broad lead weeds of wheat.

Direction of Use
Method of application: The application as a post emergent spray at 2-4 leaf stage of weeds. Application should be made to ensure uniform coverage. Add non-ionic surfactant @ 0.2% (ISo-Octyl-phenyl-polyoxyethanol 12.5%) to ensure desired efficacy. Do not make more than one application per crop season. Do not apply when weather conditions favor drift from treated areas. Spray equipment: Use as foliar spray with high volume spraying equipment using flood jet/flat fan nozzle. After spray, thoroughly clean all mixing and spray equipment viz. spray tanks, boom and hoses with clean water immediately. Instruction for mixing. Mix required quantity of metsulfuron methyl 10% w/w and carfentrazone ethyl 40% w/w DF in 8 equal parts of water to prepare a mother solution. Half fill the spray tank with clean water. Pour one part of freshly prepared mother solution and commence agitation. Top it up with water and add surfactant @ 2ml/litre of water and stir well. Repeat upto 8 times to treat one acre area. Re-entry period: Do not enter area until spray deposits have dried. Drift management: Extreme care should be taken to avoid damage by drift onto plants outside the target area or water sources.

Precaution
1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals feed. 2. Avoid inhalation of the herbicide spray mist and contact with mouth, eyes and skin. 3. Use protective clothing which includes long sleeved shirt and long pants, gloves, shoes and socks. 4 . Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and body parts after handling. 5. Do not eat, drink or smoke applying.

First Aid
If ingested: If person is conscious and alert, rinse mouth with water and give 1 or 2 glass of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call the doctor. Do not induce vomiting until and unless desired by attending physician. If inhaled: Take the patient to fresh air and take care of body temperature. If patient is not breathing or breathing with difficulty, give artificial respiration, preferably with mouth to mouth breathing. Consult a physician. In case of skin contact: Wash thoroughly the affected parts of the body with soap and plenty of water including hairs and under finger nails. If pain, redness or irritation persists, consult a doctor. All the contaminated clothes should be segregated and thoroughly washed with soap and wash separately before use. In case of eye contact: Rinse gently with plenty of water at least for 15 minutes. If pain irritation, redness or photophobia persist consult eye specialist.
