Chakra, Mepiquat Chloride 5 % Aqueous Solution is used in agriculture as a plant growth regulator. It is used for the control of excessive vegetative growth in potato and cotton. Mepquat Chloride 5 % Aqueous solution restricts the excessive vegetative growth and effective for increasing crop yield in potato. Mepiquat Chloride 5 % Aqueous Solution is soluble in water. It works systematically in plant tissue and leads to deeper green leaft colouring after 3-6 days.
Usage:
Potato – 500-600 ml / Acre For 200-240 Liters Water
Cotton – 400-500 ml / Acre For 200-400 Liters Water
Direction of Use
Fill the spray tank partly with water. Add Mepiquat Chloride 5 % Aqueous Solution at the recommended applicaztion rate. Fill up the spray tank with water with the agitator running to recommended application rate. Fill up the spray tank with water with the agitator running to ensure thorough mixing. Use a minimum of 500-600 lit/ha of water in order to obtain uniform and complete coverage of the foliage. Do not spray if rainfall is expected withing 8 hours of application as effectiveness may be reduced.
Time of Application
Apply 45 days after planting.
Precaution
Keep the material away from foodstuffs and animal feeds. Also keep the material out of reach of children and pet animals. Avoid drinking, eating or smoking during handling. Avoid inhalation. avoid anyu contact of the product with skin and eyes . While handling wear protective equipment and face shield. Wash exposed parts with plenty of soap and water.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Ingestion, inhalation or contact may cause nasal discharge, irritation, lacrimation, salivation and urination.
First Aid
1. If inhaled remove the patient into fresh air. 2. If swallowed induct vomiting by tickling back of throat. 3. Remove contaminated clothes, wash contaminated skin anc clothes with soap and plenty of water. 4. If eyes are contaminated, wash for 15 minutes with clean water. 5. Get medical help immediately.
