DIPYE (Diafenthiuron 30% + Pyriproxyfen 8% SE), combination product consists of two different classes of insecticide, which specifically kills all stages of insect (eggs, nymphs, pupa and adult) hence, it works at multiple stages of insect growth and development. This gives complete one shot solution to the farmer. Diafenthiuron shows hidden knock down effect and has a translaminar activity, which allows control of hidden pests in the plant canopy and on the underside of the leaves, whereas, Pyriproxyfen is a systemic insect growth regulator that suppresses embryogenesis and inhibits metamorphosis and reproduction of insects.

Compatibility: It is compatible with all the available insecticides and fungicides in the market except those which are highly acidic or alkaline in nature

SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND ANTIDOTE:

  • Uniform broadcasting should be advisable.
  • Do not mix with bare hands.
  • Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
  • Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
  • Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
  • Take bath properly after application.
  • Antidote – No specific antidote is known. Treat symptomatically.

Direction of Use
It should be applied as foliar spray for the control of Mites and Whitefly as soon as they appear on the Chilli crop.
Time of Application
Apply as soon as the insect population beings to appear in the field but before it reaches Economic threshold Level (ETL). Weather should be clear, calm, no rains and no strong winds.
