Zapper, Dinotefuran 4% + Acephate 50% (w/w) SG is a water soluble granule formulation containing 54% (w/w) of active ingredient Dinotefuran and Acephate. It is a highly systemic insecticide used for the control of brown plant hopper and white backed plant hopper in Rice and Sucking Pests (Aphids, Jassids, Thrips & Whiteflies) of Cotton crop. Caution: 1) Do not spray when Honeybees are active. 2) Not to be used on crops other than those prescribed on label and leaflets.

Direction of Use

Time of Application
Time of Application and Crop stage: Apply as soon as the pest population reaches at Economic Threshold Level (ETL). Weather conditions: Avoid applications under high wind and heavy rains forecasted. Soil: This is foliar application insecticide. So, hardly have any relation to soil. Water: Clean water to be used for spray. Application timing: Should be applied preferably in the morning and evening Application technique, equipment type, nozzle type: The product can be sprayed with High and low volume sprayers. It can be applied by Knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, compression knapsack battery sprayer and ASPEE-HTP power sprayer equipped with hollow cone nozzle using sufficient quantity of water to ensure thorough coverage. Instruction for mixing: Measure out required quantity of the insecticide and mix it well with a small quantity of water. Add the remaining quantity of water as specified through agitation. Re-entry period: Allow entry into treated areas only after 24 hours. Frequency including maximum number of sprays: Maximum 2 sprays depending upon insect pressure. Stages during which insecticide should not be applied on any crop: No restriction for crop stage. Follow the PHI recommendation for each crop. Usage of Pesticides in confined area: The product should be used as per the recommendation table. Phytotoxicity: The product is not phototoxic when used as per field recommendation.
Precaution
1. Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animals feed. 2. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin. 3. Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of the body after using. 4. Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while using. 5. Wear full protective clothing while using.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Nausea, vomiting, tremors and weakness.
First Aid
1. In case of Inhalation: Immediately move victim to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Keep patient warm and at rest. Call doctor immediately. 2. In case of Ingestion: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. 3. In case of skin contact: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately and thoroughly wash the affected parts of the body with plenty of water. Wash contaminated clothes before re-use. 4. In case of eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids for atleast 15 minutes. If pain or irritation persists, consult eye specialist.
Phytotoxicity
The product is not phototoxic when used as per field recommendation.
Antidote
No specific antidote is known. Treat Symptomatically.
