PRODUCT FEATURES
- Claim contains emamectin benzoate 5% SG
- Claim is a modern insecticide belongs to Avermectin group of insecticide.
- It is good for controlling Lepidopteran and sucking pests such as bollworms in cotton and fruit and shoot borers in okra, thrips and mites.
- No phytotoxicity has been reported when used as recommended.
- Claim has soluble granular formulation which gives grater solubility in water.
- It has both contact and stomach action, thus gives effective control of caterpillars.
- It is rapidly absorbed into foliage.
- It has good translaminar action thus controls the caterpillars present on the lower surface of the leaves.
- It is almost compatible with other insecticides
- It is a good larvicide having anti-feedent effect.
- Quick action: The caterpillars stop feeding to crops just after ingestion.
- Larvae dies within 2-4 days of the ingestion.
MODE OF ACTION
- Claim is a non-systemic insecticide with stomach action thus it must be ingested by the larvae to be most effective.
- It acts on nerve cells to suppress muscle contraction as a result the insect is paralyzed immediately after ingestion.
- Affected larvae after paralysis will died subsequently in 2-4 days.
- Larvae stops feeding within hours of ingesting which preventing subsequent crop damage.
METHOD & TIME OF APPLICATION
- Foliar Spray is recommended
- Apply the Claim when the incidence of larvae is first observed and repeat applications as necessary
- Add required quantity of Perform in a small quantity of clean water and stir.
- Add the remaining recommended amount of clean water and mix well with stirring.
SAFETY INSTRUCTION AND ANTIDOTE
- Uniform spray should be advisable
- Ensure full coverage of foliage.
- Use proper recommended water volume for batter result
- Wear safety equipment’s such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc.
- Do not smoke, drink, eat and chew anything while spraying
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin
- Avoid inhalation the spray mist, fog and vapors
- Take bath properly after application
